No. You must use the collect call service that the county jail contracts with. If you primarily use a cell phone instead of a land line you will definitely have a problem. Try calling AT&T an getting a landline that accepts collect calls.
Just to add to the question, what if you are within the same area? Do you still need to use County Jail collect call service even though the county jail and the one the inmate is calling is just a few blocks away?
