Have not found any calling cards cheaper than onetel offer. You also save a lot on your local and national calls that you make as well. Know a lot of people on onetel and they highly recommend it.

if your home in south africa have a pc connected to the internet then you could use skype (www.skype.com) then you can call free! you both need to download the program onto your pc and then just call home!

I’m not too sure about cheap phone cards but if you call good old SA on 08447353535 for 4pence a minute. Hope this helps from an ex-Durbanite.
