Do prepaid calling cards only work at certain times of the day?

Prepaid cards work 24/7 365 days. You may be calling a number that does not open until 1 pm. Remember there’s a time difference. When I call China I must call at 8 PM to reach someone at 8 AM.
Use better card. No fee at all, no tax, now double free minutes, Germany is 2-3 cents a minute
IT could be a misdial or a bad connection/relay from the card company taking you to some business or something.
Each card company had its own terms so it is possible that they have set hours for the service. Never saw that in any of the ones in the USA but I am very familiar with shady terms from all sorts of calling card companies and phone cards on the market. I use Net One and they are clean so I stick with them as I have been burnt so many times by others. I believe they are only from the USA calling out and not the vice versa. if you want to check them then go to – yeah so annoying that their website is mynetone not just netone
If they do not work from Germany to USA I suggest you look for a service that has NO fees, NO surcharges, and one minute rounding. I would actually count the minutes for the first few call to see if they are honest then spot check every once in a while. It would be best if they offer a service guarantee as many phone cards have strict terms that guarantees nothing. Net one has a guarantee which makes me confident. Never needed to use it but at least it is there.
You might be mistaken the support number for the access number. Most customer support numbers only accessible within the day.
Or your call might be forwarded to another number.
Contact your phone card company for clarification.
