I watched the kid at the gas station change the price on my way in, sat in line for 20 minutes, and he was back up a ladder when I came out.  So…of course, I checked the dollar index, and have been sitting here, watching it fall.  If the dollar goes below 72, we’ll be right back at “ground zero” for this economic downfall.  As the dollar wobbles on the edge, kids across America wobble on their ladders, changing prices on gas and everything else.

We haven’t seen anything yet.  The fan is on high, better get an umbrella.

And a side note.  As I predicted months ago, I refused to pay what they wanted for my bread today at Safeway.  Too bad I always said no to offers of bread makers.  They’ll soon be hot commodities.  :smileysurprised:

looks as though the dollar is shrinking as most knew it would given the overtime O has done with the printing presses.

There was a bit on the news that Japan is going to devalue the Yen against the Dollar. Interesting how countries can do that to retain a price edge.  Maybe we should do the same.
